Clyde Valley Harley Owners Group
Tenth Anniversary 1999 -2009
During the nineteen nineties Harley-Davidson motorcycles were very few and far between in the West of Scotland. However, there was a “Harley” dealer in Edinburgh and they had an affiliated chapter running. A small number of the West of Scotland “Harley” riders joined Dunedin chapter and rode with it for the next couple of years.
After a couple of years of Harley riding a number of the “Westies” decided to form a club of their own and advertised this locally around the Glasgow area, looking for other riders of Harley-Davidson owners who may be interested in joining them. It was agreed that this group would meet in the “Gairdners Arms” pub on a Wednesday evening.
